Pleasant Hill Resident Dies This Morning
Glenn Exman Passes Away At Stouder Hospital in Troy From An Infected Throat. Funeral Services Arranged.
Pleasant Hill and vicinity is saddened today by the death of Glenn Exman, 26, who passed away shortly before noon at the Stouder Hospital in Troy.
The deceased has been ill for three weeks with an infected throat and a week ago today took worse and was conveyed to the Troy Hospital.
He was the son of the late Fred Exman and since his father's death has farmed the home place, located about one and one half miles east of Pleasant Hill on the Troy and Pleasant Hill pike and has numbered many close friends among his neighbors and daily associates. He was a member of the Christian Church in Pleasant Hill and loyally supported it.
Those surviving are his widow, two little daughters, his mother, Mrs. Anna Exman of Pleasant Hill, one brother, Henry, who resided with the deceased and two sisters, Ruth Exman and Mrs. Nathan Christian.
Funeral services have been arranged for Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Christian Church. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Routzahn and Hawn, funeral directors.

Glen E. Exman
Glen E. Exman, youngest child of Fred and Anna Exman was born in Newton Township, Miami County, Ohio, October 4, 1903. He was educated in the public school of the township and grew to manhood surrounded by the wholesome influence of country life.
Under the pastorate influence of Rev. Kegg he united with the Christian Church of Pleasant Hill, November 16, 1921 and remained a member of the church until his untimely death.
On October 10, 1923 he married Lova Gorman. This married life was a happy and congenial one and their home was brightened by two children Dorothy Jane and Esther Mae.
Death came April 24, 1930 in the 27th year of his life.
In his passing he leaves his wife and two children, his mother and two sisters, Ruth of Pleasant Hill and Mrs. Stella Christian of Versailles, one brother Henry and many other relatives.
