Anna Catherine (Sipple) Bachman

At 11:15 Saturday morning Mrs. Anna Catherine Bachman died at the residence of her son, Mr. Paul Bachman, No. 210 East High Street, of la grippe, aged 81 years, 10 months and 11 days.  The funeral was held at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Monday morning at 9 o'clock, Rev. Frederick Knapp officiating. Interment at Forest Hill cemetery.  Mrs. Bachman was born in Lispen-Hausen, Germany, February 15th, 1810. Her maiden name was Catherine Sipple. She was united in marriage to Mr. Conrad Bachman in 1831. In 1856 they came to Piqua. Three children survive her, Mr. Paul Bachman, Mrs. Andrew Erb and Mrs. Chris Stein.
