EMMA BELL SHAFER
Mrs. Emma Bell Shafer of Pleasant Hill died yesterday at Dettmer Hospital. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Pleasant Hill. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Frank (Opal) Laudenslayer of Pleasant Hill and Mrs. Russell (Pearl) Etter of Covington, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren. Services will be 3:30 pm Wednesday at Ross Memorial Home with Rev. Carl Cawood officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 pm today.
