Daniel Leroy Peirson, 253 North Second street,
Tipp City, retired metal worker, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday while enroute by
ambulance to Stouder Memorial hospital after suffering a stroke of paralysis
at 7:30 p.m. His death followed an extended illness. Services were
held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Coppock, Lee Memorial home, with burial in Maple
Hill cemetery.
Mr. Peirson was born Jan. 6, 1883, in Montgomery
county, son of George and Laura Bashore Pearson. He is survived by his
wife, Mrs. Ethel Peirson; two sons, Eugene of Tipp City, Harold of Troy, and a
daughter, Mrs. Helen Mae Brown, of Troy four half brothers, George Lee of
Bradford, Jacob Lee of Dayton, Herbert Lee of Ansonia and Earl Lee of Xenia;
and four grandchildren.
