Fletcher--George Layman, an old citizen of Fletcher, died in Illinois. His body was shipped to Fletcher for burial, Monday. Robert and Milton, sons of Mr. Layman, arrived Monday. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mr. Layman was a skilled mechanic and for many years was the leading blacksmith and the best smith that ever worked in our village.
