New Hope--Clara Marie Suber, the seven years old daughter of George W. and Kittie Suber, died at her home near Conover, Sept. 9th of spinal meningitis. She had gone to school one week this term and feeling slightly indisposed remained at home Monday and in the night her spirit took its flight. She was a favorite in school and greatly interested in her Sabbath school work and her sudden and early death is the cause of much sadness. She was born near Conover August 16, 1905. Her father, mother, one brother, a grandfather and two grandmothers are the immediate relatives surviving her and all sorely feel their loss. The funeral services were held at the residence, Wednesday, Sept. 11, and were conducted by Rev. Mr. Tedford. Burial was in Fletcher cemetery.
