Troy Resident Succumbs To Long Illness
Well Known Trojan Dies as Result of Tuberculosis. Funeral Arrangements
Are Made.
Mrs. Lydia Shafner, 55, widow of the late Walter Shafner, died Saturday
night at her home on Race St. in Troy, Ohio, after suffering for over a year
with tuberculosis.
A daughter, Mrs. Harry Penny and a granddaughter, besides the parents, Mr.
and Mrs. George Neisonger survive.
Funeral arrangements have been made for Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at
the home in Troy.
