Funeral services for Molly Speelman, 82, widow of the late Louis Speelman, who
died yesterday afternoon at the home of her son, James Shoe in Dayton will be
held Friday afternoon at the George Miller funeral parlors at 2:00 o'clock.
Rev. W. H. Christian of the Presbyterian Church will officiate.
The body will be brought to the Miller home Thursday morning.
Mrs. Speelman had been ill only a few days and passed away at 3:00 o'clock
yesterday of Artero Sclerosis or hardening of the arteries.
She was a member of the Covington Christian Church and the greater part of her
life was lived in this village with the exception of the past five years that
she has lived with her son at 143 Ringgold Street in Dayton.
Those surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Reed, two sons, James Shoe of
Dayton, Wm. Shoe of Tonatan, Nev. two step daughters, Mrs. Allie King of
Arcadia, Calif., Mrs. William Shoe of Nevada and a number of grand children.
Her husband and one daughter Edith preceded her in death.
Interment will be made in Highland cemetery.
