H. KOPF STRICKEN TODAY

Victim of Influenza After 7 Weeks Illness.
William H. Kopf, 76, contractor and builder, died at 1:10 p.m. today at his
residence, 539 Park avenue, where he had been ill for seven weeks a victim of
pneumonia. Born in Piqua November 26, 1866, he was the son of Carl Michael and
Margaret Hineline Kopf. He resided
her all of his life and on October 9, 1894, was united in marriage to Miss Anna
May Yenney, who survives him. He was a valued mechanic and citizen, doing good in
a quiet and entirely unassuming way and will be sadly missed by a wide circle of
friends. He was a member of Greene Street Methodist church. He is survived by
his widow; a daughter, Miss Helen M. Kopf, teacher at Piqua Central high school;
a sister, Mrs. Mary Stein, and a brother, Edward Kopf, all of Piqua.
A brother, George and a sister, Mrs. Ida Zimmerlin, preceded him in
death. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the residence in
charge of the Rev. E. E. Fowler. Burial
will be in Forest Hill cemetery. The body was taken to the J. C. Cron and Sons
Funeral Home and will be returned to the residence where friends may call Sunday
and Monday.
