PEARSON, WILLIAM LUDLOW - William Ludlow Pearson, for many years engaged in the grocery and later in the dry goods business in this city, passed away at his home on West Main street at 10:45 last Friday night.  Deceased was born in Troy, Sept. 10, 1843, and was the son of Judge Joseph and Maria Ludlow Pearson.  In June 1864, he was married to Lorena Ann Conray of near Glendale.  To this union was born one daughter who died in infancy.  Mr. Pearson united with the M. E. church in the winter of 1864.  He was made a Master Mason in 1872 and a Knight Templar the following year.  In November 1886 he was stricken with nervous prostration and was an invalid the balance of his life.  He is survived by the widow and one brother, George H. Pearson.  Funeral services were held from the residence Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Barber.  Interment at Riverside.
