Willard
L. Snyder
Willard L. Snyder, 69, of Palestine, Texas, and formerly of Piqua, died at his
residence Thursday after an illness of several months. Born in Piqua, Sept. 6,
1901, he was the son of William M. and Mary Wolfe Snyder.
He was employed as an executive of the Calhoun Meat Packing Company in
Texas. Survivors include his wife, Fannie McMath Snyder, one daughter, Paul
O’Dell of Clearwater, Fla.; two sons, Dr. William Snyder of Tallahassee, Fla.
and Robert Snyder of Terrell, Texas; seven grandchildren; one brother, Marling
Snyder of Piqua; three sisters, Mrs. William Baker of Piqua, and Mrs. Harry Hart
of Greenville, and Mrs. Kenneth Blue of Cincinnati.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, one sister, and four brothers.
Services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Palestine, with
burial in Terrell, Texas
