DARE, VERNON R. - Funeral services for Vernon R. Dare, 61, of Tipp City were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Baker-Hazel Funeral Home, Dayton, by the Rev. Robert Brown.  Burial was in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.  Mr. Dare, vice president of Link Corp. for 21 years, died Sept. 3 in Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.  He was a member of the West Milton United Church of Christ.  He is survived by his wife, Janet Dare; four daughters, Denise Daugherty of Florence, Ky., Pam Phelps of Tipp City, Gail Brown of Huber Heights and Lisa Wilkins of Tipp City; two sisters, Mary Dehus of West Milton and Juanita Bach of Kettering and nine grandchildren.  Contributions may be made to the Oncology Unit of Good Samaritan Hospital.
