SANFORD, MRS. VERNA - Trostel-Chapman Funeral Home in New Carlisle, handled arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Verna M. Sanford, 49, of 7724 E. Walnut Grove Rd., Troy.  (formerly of Bethel Twp).  Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Pillars of Truth Church, Dayton, by the Rev. Ronald G. Bohn and the Rev. Foster Manning.  Burial will take place in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Sanford died at 8 a.m. Sunday in Kettering Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient four months.  She had been in ill health 2 1/2 years. Born in West Virginia, July 11, 1928, she was the daughter of Albert and Dona Williams Boggs. Survivors include her husband, Lewis; sons, Gordon L. of Dayton, Marshall L and Dennis, both of New Carlisle, and Gerald L., Douglas B., Darryl E. and David, all at home; a daughter, Denise Ann, at home; five brothers, Enoch Boggs of Pennsylvania, and Bedford, Wilson, Adron and Harmon Boggs, all of West Virginia; three sisters, Mrs. Florence May of West Virginia, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith of Englewood and Mrs. Ardala Via of New Carlisle, and six grandchildren.
