ASHMORE, JOHN - At the old Asbery in Troy last Thursday, John Ashmore. He was a native of England, the son of a soldier, and as far as he knew, had not a relative living. He died alone, with no one but an old companion to close his eyes. He has for the last twenty-five or thirty years been a resident of this place.
