TATE, REBECCA
- At West Milton, Miami County, Ohio, on the
23d December 1838 of pulmonary disease, Rebecca, the wife of Dr. H. Tate and the
daughter of Joseph Evans;--She lived a pattern of female delicacy, integrity and
uprightness, had a mind well stored, and of cheerful, amiable disposition.
She bore a protracted and painful illness with submission and christian
fortitude and died confiding in her Savior,
In the midst of Life we are in death;
