TICE, (NO FIRST NAME) - The Murder. - A murder was committed at Greenlee's Tavern, two miles beyond Covington, in this county, on Sunday last.  We gather the following particulars from a person who was present at the trial before the Magistrate.  Mr. Greenlee was the murder, and Mr. Tice, the murdered.  It appears that Greenlee had rented Tice his tavern stand for a number of years, and both were occupying portions of the same barn, concerning which Mr. G's, boys and Tice's ostler had had some difficulty.  On Sunday morning last Greenlee went into Tice's part of the barn to correct the ostler, and was beating him severely; when Tice came to quell the disturbance.--Greenlee immediately turned upon Mr. T. knocking him down with a club and then stamping him in the face and breast with his feet.  Mr. T. died in about two hours.  Greenlee was committed to jail.
