SELLERS, MRS. MARY - On Thursday, January 2d, 1851, in this place, Mrs. Mary, wife of H. G. Sellers, Esq., and oldest daughter of Rev. R. Brandriff, aged 24 years. Death is ever an unwelcome visitor, but doubly so, when he enters the family circle and calls from its midst, one who holds the endearing relation of wife, daughter and sister. By this dispensation, the nearest and dearest ties have been severed--a husband mourns an affectionate wife--parents a lovely daughter--sisters and brother an amiable sister--and society one of its brightest ornaments. All feel the wound inflicted by the fell destroyer--a wound the Heaven alone can heal. "Silence is the befitting language of our present sorrow and grief."
