Troy Times

August 27, 1857　

GASKILL, MRS. MARGARET - On Sabbath, the 9th inst., in Troy, O., after a short but very painful illness, Mrs. Margaret Gaskill, in the 36th year of her age.　 The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church of Troy.　 She lived the life of a consistent Christian, and her death was the happy sequel of her consistent Christian life.　 She died the death of the righteous.　 The church to which she belonged has lost one of its most valuable members.　 But she has left a husband, and an only child, a son 13 years old, who are overwhelmed with a sense of their sudden and sad bereavement.
