KESSLER, MARGARET EMELINE - In this county, of the Dropsy, on the 7th inst., Margaret Emeline, wife of Israel Kessler, and daughter of David and Sarah Adams, (natives of N. Carolina,) aged 34 years.  Mrs. Kessler made a profession of religion 11 or 12 years since, and supported that profession with becoming dignity, though greatly afflicted, to the last.  Her disease was of long standing, and during the last three months she suffered greatly; but she bore it with extraordinary patience and resignation.  A few days before her death, she said, "What but the religion of Jesus could support me under such suffering."  She had the use of reason and of speech until the last.  A few minutes before her death she gave a particular charge to her husband and friends, to be careful in training up their children, that they might be early prepared for usefulness in life.  Let all who wish to die the death of the righteous, live their life.
