KNOOP, JOHN WESLEY - At the residence of his father, Jacob Knoop, near Troy, John Wesley Knoop, in his 24th year. His illness was long, but was borne with patience and Christian hope. Just before he fell asleep, he gave his friends the most satisfactory assurance that all was well; that he would soon enter upon a joyful rest in Heaven. His funeral was attended by a large circle of sympathizing friends.
