WORTHINGTON, SILAS A. - Conover--Mr. Silas A. Worthington died at his home in Conover last Saturday of heart trouble.  Deceased was born March 7, 1841, in Brown township, and was the son of George and Esther Worthington.  In 1861 he enlisted in the 71st O. V. I. and served until the close of the war.  Nov. 15, 1865, he was united in marriage with Susanna Duer, who preceded him to the great beyond.  February 27, 1893, he was married to Mrs. Frances Moore, who now survives him.  Other members of the immediate family surviving are three sons, one daughter, five grandchildren, four brothers and six sisters.  Funeral services were held at the home in Conover last Monday, conducted by Rev. Isaac Bennett.  Interment in Fletcher cemetery.
