ROSE, SHIRLEY A. - Services for Shirley A. Rose, 60 of Springboro, sister of Judy Shaw of Bethel Township, were  conducted July 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Polk Grove United Church of Christ by the Rev. Ronald Hajarian.  Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Rose, a former Butler Township resident, died July 23 at Grandview Hospital after a lengthy illness.  She was a member of Polk Grove United Church of Christ.  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Randal S. Barr (Michelle) of Miamisburg; a brother, Joe Buegler of Dayton; the sister in Bethel Township; and three grandchildren, Danny Lee Comer Jr., Taylor Michelle Barr and  James Douglas Comer. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny L. Comer Sr., in 1985; and a sister, Nancy L. Roderer. Funeral arrangements were completed by the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
