SCOTT, MRS. SARAH - Mrs. Sarah Ellen Scott, widow of the late Sharon Scott, 76, died at 2:30 o'clock Saturday morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Cost, in Alcony, following an illness of a few weeks resulting from the infirmities of advanced age.  Funeral services will be conducted in the McKendree Methodist Episcopal church, south of Alcony, at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon by Rev. Lester Schlechty of Troy,  Burial will be made in Casstown cemetery.  Mrs. Scott, whose maiden name was Sarah Ellen Mumford, was born in Miami county and lived her entire life in and near Alcony.  Mr. Scott died three years ago.  The surviving members of her family are the daughter, Mrs. Cost, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Wilbur Mumford, all residing in the same community.
