SHUTTLEWORTH, SAMUEL - Patty--Samuel Shuttleworth, a veteran of the Civil war, died April 11 at his home near here death being due to tuberculosis.  He was born March 17, 1837, near Coventry in England.  He was married Sept. 2, 1858, to Martha Jane Taylor who died Dec. 28, 1860.  Dec. 20, 1866, he married Emma Florence Taylor who died April 20, 1905.  Mr. Shuttleworth is survived by four sons and four daughters.  When a young man he united with the Presbyterian church.  He served in the Civil war enlisting twice.  He served two years in the 75th Ohio Regiment and seven months in the 186th.  He held the office of corporal.  The funeral services were held April 14th at West Grove and were conducted by Rev. Enos Pemberton.  Interment was made in Mote's cemetery.
