KINGORE, SAMUEL B. - Pleasant Run--Samuel B. Kingore died at his home in Donnellsville, May 12, death resulting from a fall he sustained seven weeks ago. He was born Nov. 4, 1833, at Springfield and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Kingore. January 27, 1898, he married Susanna Young and she and an adopted son, Lester Kingore of Knoxville, Tenn., survive him. In 1862 he enlisted in Co. A, 94th O. V. I. and served with his regiment until the close of the war. As a soldier he was distinguished for valor and courage and engaged in the bloodiest battles of the war. As a citizen, he maintained an honorable, and upright career. During his illness he was a patient sufferer. He was a member of the Baptist church and the G. A. R. The funeral services were held at the Lutheran church in Donnellsville, Sunday at 2:30 and were conducted by Rev. Leatherman. Interment at Donnellsville cemetery.
