F. ‘Bob’ Yenney
TIPP
CITY – Robert F. ‘Bob’ Yenney, 90, of Tipp City, died Tuesday, Aug. 2,
2005, at Kettering Medical Center, Dayton. He
was born Oct. 27, 1914, in Piqua, to Frederick and Mary (Zimmer) Yenney.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Dorothy M. (Timmerman) Yenney; one son, Tim
and his wife Beatrice of Leavenworth, Kan.; one daughter, Karla Buffington and
her husband Lynn of New Milford, Conn.; son-in-law, Pat Durham of Bellville; and
one sister-in-law, Mildred Yenney of Florida.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Susan (Durham) Moloney, Robert
Durham, David Durham, Nicole Buffington and Sarah Yenney; and four
great-grandchildren, Patrick, Mary Kate, Liam and Kevin Moloney. He was preceded
in death by his parents, one daughter, Jen Ann Durham, and one brother, Newell
Yenney. Bob was a retired electrician, a member of the barbershop chorus for 59
years, a long-standing member of the Tipp City United Methodist Church and choir
and a past member of the trustee committee and building committee.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Piqua, was a Master Mason and a
member of the Elm Valley Fish and Game Club since 1978.
He loved fishing, singing, working and helping others. Funeral services
will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Tipp City United Methodist Church, with the
Rev. Jack Chalk officiating. Burial
will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Visitation
will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main
St., Tipp City, OH 45371.
