Mrs. Retta Siler Kneisly

Mrs. Andrew Kneisley died at her home on South Oxford St., Friday evening, of consumption. She was born near Nashville in this county, in 1864, her maiden name being Retta Siler.  Before her marriage she was a popular dressmaker and had a wide circle of friends, who loved her for her devotion to her mother and sisters, which was displayed in numerous ways.  She joined the Baptist Church in early youth but had been lately an attendant upon the service of the Methodist Church with which she united only a few days, before her death.  She leaves a husband and little daughter of tender years to mourn her death.  The funeral was held Monday afternoon and the body laid away in the Thomas graveyard south of the city.
