ANOTHER OLD PIONEER GONE - Tadmor, O., June 10, 1877.

"God's finger touched him, and he slept."  -- Tennyson.

SULLIVAN, MR. PETER - We are pained to chronicle the death of Mr. Peter Sullivan a valuable citizen in our midst, who departed this life on Sabbath last, at the green old age of three score years and ten.  Mr. S. had long been ailing at time, from lung fever, indigestion, and other internal complaints, but had maintained a medium degree of health, until about ten days since, when he was suddenly prostrated and continued growing worse until his death at the above named date.  Mr. Sullivan was well known to a large majority of the citizens of Montgomery and Miami Counties, and was greatly esteemed by all for his morality, uprightness, and integrity.  He was formerly engaged in business at this place being connected with the firm of Crook & Co. who are still doing a large business here.  He leaves a wife (who is much younger than himself) to mourn his loss.  His funeral took place from his late residence at this place to day.  Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.                    A Citizen.
