August 3, 1911

PEARSON, PERRY - Ludlow Falls--Mr. Perry Pearson died at his home northwest of Ludlow July 27th of heart failure super induced by Bright's disease.   He was born Oct. 18, 1853, in Monroe township and was the son of Moses and Margaret Pearson.  He was united in marriage with Rachael Knife but  there were no children given to this union and in their advanced age they employed Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yount to care for them who have done their best to comfort them in their declining years.  Mr. Pearson was a farmer and spent almost his entire life for the past 25 years on the farm where his death occurred.  He was a man of very reserved habits and always bore the reputation of attending strictly to his own affairs.  As there was no church here of his denomination he always was a faithful attendant at the Christian church services as long as his health would permit.  Although death came to him very unexpected he has been in declining health for several years.  Funeral services were held from the late home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E. C. Robertson of Salem.  Interment in the Curtis cemetery near Frederick.
