APPLEGATE, PEARL LORETTA, - Funeral services for a Tipp City native, Pearl Loretta Tower Applegate, were held last Friday at the Hale-Sarver funeral home in West Milton.  Mrs. Applegate, 68, of 43 Greenville avenue, Ludlow Falls, died on March 21 in Stouder Memorial hospital.  She was the daughter of the late John and Lucy Tower of Tipp City. Survivors include her aunt, Mrs. Goldie Rheuble of Tipp City; her husband Raymond; four sons, William of Troy; and Richard, Robert and Raymond E., all of West Milton; two daughters, Mrs. Glenna Hicks of Piqua and Mrs. Dorothy Bergman of Englewood; three sisters, Mrs. Cecil Wirt of Phoenix, Ga., Mrs. Denise Seflick of Niles, Mich. and Clarabelle Shaw of Toledo; a brother Robert Tower of Texas; 19 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and one great grandchild.  The Reverend Lloyd McConald officiated at final rites.  Burial was in Riverside cemetery in West Milton.
