SIMPSON, OLIVIA - Mrs. Olivia Simpson in Troy, March 17th, 1869, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the 61st year of her age--after several months sickness with dropsy.  She was born in Lebanon, Warren Co., Ohio, in 1808, and when quite young removed to this place, where she has always lived.  She was a strong, healthy, cheerful woman, ever ready to heed the calls of distress; there was no night too dark or weather too bad for her to visit a sick neighbor; consequently when any of her acquaintances were sick, they sent for "Aunt Olivia," by which name she was kindly known to all, and her cheerful face, kind words and general knowledge of disease, always gave her a kindly welcome among her numerous acquaintances.  She was a good mother and a dutiful wife.
