SCHNEIDER, RICK - Rick C. Schneider, 50, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010 of injuries resulting in a motorcycle accident. He was born Oct. 29, 1959 in Dayton, the son of Frederick E. and the late Betty Schneider. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Caine. He loved attending NASCAR races, riding his motorcycle and camping. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Diane; son, Corey; sister and brother-in-law, Roy and Terri Bayes; brother, Frederick; in-laws, Bob and Ann Kunka; several uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces, cousins and loads of friends. He was a member of Moose Lodge 2464 in Park Layne. Services were held Aug. 4, with Spider Webb officiating at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, 507 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle. There will be a gathering at the Moose Lodge in Park Layne on the Corner of 235 and Gerlaugh Rd. after the services. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to a memorial account in Rick Schneider's name at Security National Bank, to help with expenses as Rick was laid off and lost his life insurance when General Motors closed his shop down.
