 Mrs. Emma Kohler Dies Wednesday  

Mrs. Emma Della Kohler, 73, live-long Piqua resident and wife of Jacob D. Kohler, died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday at her home, 516 Spring street, where she had suffered with a heart condition for four years and was bedfast two months. Born in Springcreek township November 14, 1874, she was one of the six children of John Jacob and Elizabeth Wolf Yenney.  Her marriage to Jacob Kohler took place here February 2, 1904.  She was a member of Greene Street Methodist church, the Women’s Bible class, the American Bible Society, the Piqua Female Bible society and a charter member of the Y. M. C. A. Surviving are her husband; a brother, G. F. Yenney, and a sister Mrs. William Kopf (Anna), both of Piqua.  Two brothers, John and Fred Yenney, and a sister, Mrs. Gus Schrader (Hattie), preceded her in death. The Rev. A. K. Wilson will conduct services Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Greene Street Methodist church with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence in the afternoon until time for the funeral. Madison Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
