BOWERS, MRS. NANCY - Pneumonia resulted fatally for Mrs. Nancy Bowers, 84, resident of Fletcher, Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the home of her son, Charles Bowers, 507 Scott street, Piqua.  She contracted a severe cold which developed into pneumonia.  Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Fletcher Baptist church with Rev. David Gow, former pastor of that church, assisted by Rev. H. B. Parrott, in charge.  Burial was made in the Fletcher cemetery.  Nancy Clark Bowers was born at Rosewood, Champaign county, in 1848 and was married to George Bowers who preceded her in death in 1908  She had made Fletcher her home since her marriage.  Surviving relatives are four sons, Emery E. Bowers, Fletcher, Charles and Frank of Piqua, and Cory of DeGraff; one daughter, Mrs. Susan Emerick of Piqua; two brothers, Albert Clark of Rosewood and Lemuel of Springfield.
