PARTLOW, MRS.
KATHRYN - Mrs. Kathryn Partlow, 50, wife of L.
W. Partlow of Tippecanoe City, a sister of Charles S. Ross of Troy, succumbed to
a cerebral hemorrhage at her home on West Broadway at that place Friday
afternoon at 4 o'clock. The attack was the second she had suffered, the
first having occurred about two years ago last fall. Mrs. Partlow was
taken ill about 11 o'clock Friday morning, death following several hours later.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran
church, Rev. Ralph A. Harshman, pastor, in charge. Burial will be made in
Maple Hill cemetery. Mrs. Partlow was prominent in social, club, church
and civic activities in Tippecanoe City, where she spent practically her entire

which she was a former president. Her club affiliations also included the

matron of the order. Her church affiliation was with Zion Lutheran church
in which she took an active interest, for many years being a teacher in the
Sunday school and active in the societies of the church. Following first
occurrence of her illness two years ago, Mrs. Partlow relinquished much of her
activity. Surviving are her husband, Louis Partlow, who is one of the
owners of the Ohio theater in the village; two sons, James and Robert, the
former a student in the University of Florida, both at home at present; her
mother, Mrs. Ross; one sister, Mr. C. J. Trost, of Tippecanoe City, and two
