TANNREUTHER, MRS. SARAH - Hickory Grove--Mrs. Sarah Tannreuther died Feb. 9th of a complication of diseases.  She was born at Center July 29, 1834, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Karns.  She was married to John Tannreuther and there survive them four daughters and four sons.  The oldest son Isaac had always remained at home with his mother and at the present her daughter, Mrs. Kate Shafford, and granddaughter, Lydia Shafford, were staying with her.  She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.  The funeral was held at the Hickory Grove church Sunday, Feb. 12, and was conducted by Rev. Jacob Coppock and Rev. D. S. Filburn.  Interment in Hickory Grove cemetery.
