NATIVE DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Mrs. Robert Kunkle, 320 West High street, has been notified of the death of a cousin, Ray Brown, 61, which occurred unexpectedly December 1 at his home in Healdsburg, Calif. Mr. Brown was born reared in Piqua, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown. For the past 33 years he had owned and operated a drug store at Healdsburg. His only immediate survivor was his wife, the former Myrtle Wolfe of Columbus. His son, Lieut. Donald Brown, 29, was lost aboard the submarine Wahoo during World War II.
