STAFFORD, MRS. NANCY - Mrs. Nancy Stafford died Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the home of S. E. Cairnes on East Main street.  Bronchitis and heart trouble with the infirmities of her age, near 83, was the cause of death.  Mrs. Stafford was born March 29, 1829 and is a native of Pennsylvania.  Mrs. Stafford was born near Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, having moved to Ohio at about the age of 12 years, making her home for a number of years at New Carlisle, Ohio.  She was married to Mr. James Brown in 1855 and to this union were born two children, James and Jeanette.  In 1864 she was united in marriage to John W. Stafford of New Carlisle who passed away in 1870 and lies buried at New Carlisle.  The funeral was held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from the Cairnes residence and burial was in New Carlisle cemetery.
