SHELLENBARGER, MRS. MELLA - Mrs. Mella Shellenbarger, wife of George Shellenbarger died Friday morning at her home on North Market street, aged about 46 years.  She had for many months suffered from dropsy and heart disease.  She was born May 23, 1865, and was married to George Shellenbarger, August 17, 1884.  They had no children except an adopted daughter and son, Garland and Henry.  For the past year Mrs. Shellenbarger had conducted the Commercial Hotel.  She was of a charitable and kindly disposition and was greatly loved and respected and many sincerely mourn the death of a true friend.  She was a faithful member of the Baptist church from which the funeral, which was very largely attended, was held Sunday afternoon.  Rev. Holt was in charge and the Daughters of Pocahontas of which she was a member were present in a body.
