MRS. MAURICE -
Mrs. Maurice Baird, 46, a former Trojan, died at the home of her father, Rev. A.
N. Spahr, in Xenia, Saturday morning. She had been in failing health for
some time, but the immediate cause of death was acute indigestion. She is
survived by her husband, father and one brother. The remains were brought
to Troy and the funeral was held Tuesday morning from the home of Mrs. A. F.
Broomhall, a sister-in-law of Mrs. Baird. The sermon was preached by Rev.
J. W. Clokey, who paid a high tribute to the Christian character of the
deceased. Interment was made at Riverside.
