SWAIN, MRS. MARY - Phoneton--Mrs. Mary Swain died Nov. 17 at her home here, death being due to old age.  She was born in 1824.  She was married to Charles B. Swain who died in 1905.  There survive her a sister, a daughter, Mrs. D. C. Shaffer, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Three children died in childhood.  She was a church member and a true Christian woman, a kind and affectionate mother and a patient sufferer for many months previous to her death.  The funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 20, and were conducted by the Rev. Dunklebarger of North Dayton,  Interment in the new cemetery at Bethel.
