ELY, MRS. MARY J. - Mrs. Mary J. Ely, widow of Thompson Ely, died Wednesday morning of heart trouble, at her home on West Main street.  Mrs. Ely was 78 years of age April 29.  She was born in Maryland, but had lived in Ohio since a little girl.  Her husband, died several years ago.  Three sons, Ellsworth, Bernard and Dr. Walter Ely of Walla Walla, Wash., survive her.  The latter is on her way home now.  A sister, Mrs. Maggie Collins, lives at Alcony, Ohio.
