BLACK, MRS. MARY FOLCKEMER - Mrs. Mary Folckemer Black, a native of Miami county, died in Kansas City several days ago and her body was brought to Covington, Monday of last week and taken to the home of Cornelius Stover, where the funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. F. G. Behner being in charge.  Interment was made in Highland cemetery.  She was born in West Milton, Ohio, February 12, 1846, and moved to Covington when about 13 years of age.  She was a student in the high school at Covington and later went to Springfield Seminary, and completed her course at Delaware, Ohio, in 1866.  She united with the Methodist church when about sixteen, and was a member until she married, when she reunited with the United Presbyterian church.  Her husband died about 12 years ago, and she then went to Kansas City to make her home and lived there until her death.
