April 15, 1871 

TULLIS, MRS. MARGARET - In this place, on Saturday morning, April 9th, after a lingering sickness, Mrs. Margaret Tullis, wife of John T. Tullis, in the 75th year of her age.  The deceased emigrated to the neighborhood of Troy, from Pennsylvania, her native State, in the Fall of 1814, and has ever since been identified with the society of this place.  She was a devoted Christian woman.  In health, an active worker in the church!  In affliction, a submissive recipient of her Lord's mysterious doings.  Her dying testimony was, "All is well."  She has joined the sacramental host on the evergreen shore.
