DEATON, MRS. LUCINDA - The funeral of Mrs. Lucinda Deaton, who died of a complication of diseases Thursday evening at her home in Christiansburg, was held in that village at 12:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon.  Mrs. Deaton, who maiden name was Fuller, was born on the old Fuller homestead northeast of New Carlisle, February 11, 1838, and was nearing her seventy-fourth birthday anniversary.  She leaves three sons and three daughters.  They are Geo. Deaton of Christiansburg, William I. Deaton of near Grange Hall, near New Carlisle, M. L. Deaton of Arkansas, Mrs. Dora Miller of near Christiansburg, Mrs. Margaret Hance who lives on the Fuller homestead, and Mrs. Frances Parker, wife of S. B. Parker, 1554 South Fountain avenue, Springfield.  She was the widow of John A. Deaton.
