THOMPSON, MRS. JOSEPHUS - Covington--After a severe illness of six weeks, Mrs. Josephus Thompson passed away at her home, just south of Covington, Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, at the age of 66 years.  The decedent was well known in this city and community and was loved by all who knew her as a woman of sterling character.  During her illness the suffering was very intense, yet she endured it all with great patience, and all the care that loving hands could do was given her.  The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the late home, officiated by Rev. G. A. Connibear.  Interment was made in Highland cemetery.
