PERRY, MRS. JOHN - Covington - One of the oldest citizens of this vicinity, Mrs. John Perry, widow of the late John Perry, passed away Sunday evening at 8 o'clock at her late country home, northeast of this city, after a lingering illness suffering from tumor.  The deceased had reached the advanced age of more than 80 years and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Tillie Chaney, who resided with her, and two sons, Frank Perry, of this vicinity, and Henry Perry, of  Wall street, this city.  The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence.
