DETHLOFF, MRS. JOHN - Covington--Mrs. John Dethloff, aged 55, died early Thursday morning after an illness lasting only 12 hours, having been stricken with apoplexy Wednesday afternoon.  She was well and favorable known here and in Pleasant Hill, her former home.  She is survived by her husband, two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Eyer Tobias and Harley Shafer of Springfield and Mrs. Curtis Fisher and Elmer Shafer of this place.  The funeral was held Sunday afternoon in the Brethren church at Pleasant Hill and was conducted by Rev. C. H. Ashman.  Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
