SPITLER, MRS. JACOB - Covington--Mrs. Jacob Spitler of West Covington died at New Carlisle at the home of her son, William Spitler, while she was visiting there, pneumonia being the cause of death, after a brief illness.  Her husband's death occurred just ten weeks ago Friday, the same day of the week of Mrs. Spitler's death.  The remains were brought to her home in West Covington Saturday.  The deceased was known in this city and community and it is with regret that the friends hear of her demise, as she was a much esteemed woman.  The surviving members of the family are one son, William Spitler of New Carlisle, and one daughter, Mrs. Jacob Killian, west of Covington and four grandchildren.  The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Christian church, conducted by Rev. G. A. Connibear.  Interment was made in Highland cemetery.
