BOWMAN, MRS. J. W. - Tippecanoe City--Mrs. J. W. Bowman died Wednesday night of last week, an illness lasting since the middle of December, when she suffered a stroke of paralysis.  All that could be done for in the way of medical aid, and care and attention was in vain.  Mrs. Bowman will be greatly missed as she was prominent in social, benevolent and religious circles.  She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. E. L. Craine of this place and Mrs. Louis Mitchell of Syracuse, N. Y., and a little granddaughter, Enona Gene Bowman of Piqua.  The funeral was held Saturday afternoon with services at the home conducted by her pastor, Rev. B. W. Ziegler.  The body was laid to rest in Maple Hill cemetery.
